Chaos has broken out at Kyambogo University where the guild presidential elections are currently taking place. A one Farouq has exchanged blows with a police officer- throwing him down as he rained punches and kicks on the helpless officer.
This was after he was allegedly caught with pre-ticked ballot papers in favour of Lawrence Lagavu the FDC guild presidential candidate. He has been arrested and detained at Kyambogo police post as the Kyambogo EC continues with vote counting at all polling stations.
