Today Kyambogo University students have taken to the streets of Banda to protest the delay in the release of their results and the strike as been coupled with the purported claims by the NRM camp that the just concluded elections were rigged.
Students have been trapped outside as most gates have been closed after the police and the administration was tipped off of a possibility of a looming strike. Gates are closed while students claiming delayed results and they are tired of waiting for ages for their results to be out.
However the strike is being fronted by the NRM supporters who have disguised their intentions of demanding for results yet their intentions is to cause chaos over the loss in the just concluded Guild Presidential elections.
Sources intimate to this website that the people striking have a hidden agenda and it’s not basically a results issue but its because it got to there ears that Ngoboka Solomon’s (NRM Guild Presidential aspirant) petition was withdrawn since it did not have stable grounds. Although it has not been publicly declared by the Electoral Commission.
This is a developing story and we shall keep you posted
