Kyambogo university students are on strike. The students who are set to graduate late this year have staged a demonstration because of missing results.
Also, the increment on the guild fee from shs13,900-22,000 without official communication by the administration, which compelled many to pay for a fine of late registration and yet they had earlier paid to zero balance, only to find they are demanded shs9, 100, the amount which was increased.
Police has been deployed around the campus, lecture rooms are locked and there is totally no sign of lectures.
