The MAK main building is under siege as Nkrumah hall (North court) students have stormed it seeking for their internet rights.
These students who are over 100 in number are so dissatisfied with the fact that other halls have active WiFi yet theirs is not functional. They are currently shouting out VC Ddumba’s name at the council room entrance in the main building.
The security personnel around at the moment can be seen busy on the phone calling for Prime Minister Jothan Burubuto’s immediate intervention to calm down the students.
Students have been heard screaming ‘Mugaati Zhee’ which loosely translated means, ‘No to corruption’. They claim their intern rights have been traded in exchange for money.
At the moment, the Nkrumah boys are heard saying that the only way they will see the VC is if he is providing a solution rather than just mere words.
