A student has survived death by whiskers after a racing land cruiser nearly crushed into her while she moved towards Livingstone hall, the cruising land cruiser number UAJ, 345L, rammed past a car, before accelerating across the lawn consequently hitting the tarmac with a loud bang!
According to eye witnesses, the driver identified as Otim Francis, donning a white shirt was racing down the Livingston road, in the drizzling rain at around 12;20pm. He lost control, rammed into a parked Raum, denting the driver’s side of the Raum reg. Number, UAW 202F, ash grey belonging to a Namugaya Sherry, a 3rd year BBA student. Apparently, the Raum, had packed along the driveway which would mean the lady was equally at fault. The visibly shaken Otim, called his dad, a staff at college of veterinary.
He blames the automatic car crash on the car carpet tampering with the accelerator. The brake drum of the car was destroyed as a result. An argument ensued the bitter Sherry swearing demanding for the car keys. Eye witnesses, state there was loud music in the car, he was seen racing up towards the Nkrumah roundabout, he nearly knocked a few students when beating the bend, he instead increased his speed amid jeers and curses from a group of students who ran from the road away from the swerving car. Fortunately, no one was injured.
In the ensuing chaos, trust a few University students to earn, the headlights mysteriously vanished!
