After spending days in comma at Victoria Hospital in Bukoto, Makerere University first year student, Aine Moureen has sadly gone to rest with the angels. This heartbreaking sad news was announced by her sister this afternoon who has been with her in the hospital.

Aine was on Sunday morning knocked down by a speeding car on the Northern Bypass. She was rushed to Malcolm Hospital in Kisaasi before she was transferred to Victoria Hospital.

According to family sources her friends and family believe that she was knocked because she didn’t sustain any injuries. “Aine was not knocked because she has no injury on her. It must have been a tempted kidnap by the taxi people. Her story is complicated,” Cissy, a friend to the deceased said.

We are told there was a fundraising yesterday (Wednesday) to raise money for her operation but unfortunately, she did not make it to the operation. Aine’s body will on Friday be taken to her ancestral home in Sheema for burial.

May her soul rest in peace.
