Kamoga Bruno of the National Unity Platform (NUP) has taken the lead in the MUBS guild presidential race.
Provisional results received by this publication indicate that Kamoga has defeated UYD’S Shamoodah Nabwaaga.
The NUP leaning candidate proved to be the majority’s favourite as he won at most of the polling centers.
Kamoga’s victory means that the National Unity Platform has regained its dominance in the MUBS elections.
Kamogo Bruno will become MUBS’ 26th guild president, taking over from UYD’S Kiyega Rogers.
Makerere University Business School students went to the polls on August 23rd, 2022 to elect their next guild president.
