NTV presenter Sheila Gashumba, and daughter to arrested city businessman Frank Gashumba has this afternoon flown to South Africa.
This follows the father’s arrest last evening by Cheiftancy of Millitary Intelligence (CMI) over claims of impersonation.
The 22-year-old spent the better part of her day broadcasting, through her Snapchat account, CCTV footage of CMI operatives besieging their Bunga house.
Sheila’s friend, however, told Campus Bee that she has gone to Cape Town on holiday as earlier planned and that her trip has nothing to do with her father’s arrest.
The youthful Slay Queen aka “Lil Stunner” shared her internary details on her Snapchat account before setting off.
Frank Gashumba was arrested from the city center on Monday night by operatives from the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) for allegedly impersonating a defense ministry official and conning some foreigners.
The operatives later went on to search Gashumba’s residence in Bunga, a city suburb and his Industrial area based offices of Sisimuka Uganda. The defense ministry spokesman, Brigadier Richard Karemire confirmed Gashumba’s arrest and the ongoing investigations.
Gashumba is set to be paraded before the media this evening.
