NAKAWA: Makerere University Business School students, as we report this, are on strike, the students went on demonstration after the MUBS Electoral Commission nullified the voting process that took place today.
Police fired teargas after a mamoth crowd of students gathered to look for the NRM guild candidate, Evelyn Aijuka who is rumoured to have rigged the elections. The students have now gathered at main building chanting “weewwee…..Don (another guild candidate) zoyeee, Evelyn Zeeeeee,.”
”We shall not allow the counting of votes they must be cancelled”- Birungi victor, one of the guild contestants said.
The ballot boxes were then loaded onto a police patrol and were taken to Central Police Station, CPS.
