Bukedde TV, famous among university students for abanoonya singles’ show and ‘Agataliko nfufu’ that broadcasts weird and controversial news is the last place to imagine scandal would develop. The TV is under the legendary Vision Group, we expect maximum adherence to Media ethics and Morality.
It was therefore shocking and we were left dumbfounded when news reached us that a top manager at Bukedde TV, Mr Wesali Simei had been fired for harassing female interns.
Harassing female interns is a polite way of saying, Mr Wesali has been asking for ‘ebintu’ from these interns with threats and force, legally called, “demanding for coitus with menaces.”
Highly reliable sources intimidated to us that,unsuspecting University interns from Mutesa Royal university and Kampala University have since fallen prey to the manager’s style of doing things. Many confessed that they thought the easiest route to getting a job at Bukedde TV was by way of the tunnel under the skirt.
It’s sad and lamentable that the manager has been eating fresh babes on false promises and also harassing those he considered were playing hard to get. It’s a smart move, perhaps the same might reach university and put an end to sexually transmitted marks.
