Busitema University is buzzing with anticipation as it prepares to host its 14th Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, March 28th, 2024. The event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. at the Gymnasium, located on the Busitema Campus in Busia District.
Led by the Chairperson of the Convocation, Eng. Musinguzi Badru, the Busitema convocation is gearing up for its annual convocation week known as BU-CWEEK, 2024. This week-long celebration promises a mix of activities designed to instill love and pride in the university among its alumni and current students alike.
Hon. JC Muyingo, Minister of State for Higher Education, will grace the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest, adding a touch of honor to the ceremony.
The convocation’s top priorities are clear—to work hand-in-hand with the university to provide students with an exceptional university experience. This includes a focus on academics, welfare, career advancement, and the realization of their dreams. To achieve these goals, the convocation engages in various initiatives such as resource mobilization, policy advocacy, mentorship programs, career fairs, and support for research and innovation.
Dr. Lilian Gimuguni, the Academic Registrar, assures all stakeholders of a colorful event and emphasizes that the quality of graduands is assured.
