After attending yesterday’s rally at Lumumba Hall, supporters of Kinene Edward hit the streets of Wandegeya to push their candidate outside the premises of Makerere University. The UYD flag bearer moved with his supporters all the way from Makerere main gate to neighboring streets of Wandegeya.
The big number of supporters disrupted the smooth traffic flow as Makerere students deliberately walked on the main road. A few bodaboda guys were seen moving following the bevy of the campaigners.
The convoy was later seen branching to Makerere University’s small gate something-stabilized the traffic flow. The Lumumba rally was the second last ahead of the University’s guild elections slated for tomorrow Friday 2nd March.
