Today being no bra day, many female students went for lectures without bras in a bid to celebrate the controversial No Bra Day event.
“I have no bra, and I am proud of it, girls should be empowered to stand and fight cancer. That’s what I am doing- otherwise, the guys stare too much,” commented Alice a Law student at UCU.
The origin of National No Bra Day is unclear although this day is celebrated across the globe with the message of raising awareness of the importance of breast cancer screening, recognizing the symptoms so as to fight against breast cancer by encouraging women to leave their bras at home every October 13th.
“It’s no bra day so my friends persuaded me to leave my bra at hostel. It actually feels nice walking around without a bra,” Gloria a student of Engineering at MUK earlier shared about her new experience of going to campus braless.
October is breast cancer awareness month and many people take an extra step to see to it that the month is fun, educative and informative.
“I just did it for FOMO, felt a little bit uncomfortable but I put on a thick top, so I am good my nipples won’t be visible,” Angella a student of Engineering at Kyambogo University confirmed to this website.
“It was a normal day for me until some ladies walked in bra-less, I wasn’t able to control myself after that fam, I just went loose. The oscillations my little junior has experience since morning are uncountable,” Micheal a student of Mass Communication at MUK said.
Many guys in class today couldn’t control their eyes as most babes flocked lecture rooms and the library braless, with some nipples in sight.
“I didn’t put on a bra today- actually I never put on a bra on Wednesdays…so I find it so normal,” Jovia Procurement student at MUBS commented earlier today.
