GULU UNIVERSITY GETS NEW VICE CHANCELLOR: Students of Gulu University may be having a reason to smile, as Prof. Fredrick Kayanja has been installed as the new Vice Chancellor of the institution in a ceremony presided over by the Education Minister, Jessica Alupo. The New Vision quoted the elderly gentleman as expressing gratitude towards President Museveni for entrusting him with the noble opportunity to serve the University. We wish him good luck during his stay at the upcountry institution.
IUEA ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR THE JANUARY INTAKE: The International University of East Africa, IUEA, is in the process of admitting prospective students for the January intake. In a leaflet published by the institution, interested students may access application forms from its main campus in Kansanga or online at www.iuea.ac.ug. If you can’t be admitted in the January intake, you still stand a chance during the May or August intakes.
MUNI UNIVERSITY ADVERTISES VICE CHANCELLOR’S JOB: A few may know this University but it’s actually a Public University in Arua District, established on 9th May 2013 by Statutory Instrunment No. 31 of 2013. It focuses mainly on Techno Science and Business Sciences. It seeks someone who is innovative, visionary with the capacity to build a dynamic management team, with a wide knowledge of national, regional and international status and trends of higher education to fill the position of Vice Chancellor on a five-year contract.
