Cancer patient Carol Atuhairwe has died in India, Campus Bee reports.
The #SaveCarol campaign team leader, Muhereza Kyamutetera has confirmed that Atuahirwe’s brother phoned him Thursday night informing him of the demise of Atuhaire.
After the car wash that happened last year at Panamera bar, Shs324,603,399 was raised from the charity drive. That was Shs54 million above the estimated need of Shs270 million.
Atuhairwe, an alumna of Makerere University was flown to India and the family requested the public to respect he privacy until the time of her death.
