According to the Daily Monitor, Mukono District iron bar hit men are making a comeback after they allegedly killed an official working with the Office of the Prime Minister on Sunday. Police discovered the body of Eddie Zikusooka, 45, abandoned at Kiwanga Village in Seeta, Mukono District at 7:45am.
“The assailants dumped the official’s body outside the car after hitting him on the head with the object and later abandoned the car,” Mr Onyango told journalists at Kampala Metropolitan Police headquarters yesterday.
Mukono is known for its gruesome murders that are often as a result of use of iron bars. Last year, police deployment in the area reduced such murder cases significantly but new incidents have cropped up.
This comes at a time when Uganda Christian University student are whining up with their end of semester examinations and are ready to party, the night tomorrow Wednesday. Please be cautious, avoid moving alone at night. Be safe!
