To be admitted to pursue a programme at CUU, applicants must satisfy the University’s minimum entry requirement for that particular programme. Details of these requirements may be found within the descriptions for each course prospectus.
Selection Procedure.
FIRST STEP
A complete application consists of: The application forms itself, transcripts and certificates, application fee, and in some cases a candidate who submits an application for admission may be subjected to an admissions interview. SECOND STEP
The Admissions Committee considers numerous factors, including work experience, academic history, recommendations, personal interview and the body of the application itself. One of the most important prerequisites for Undergraduate programmes is a full grade twelve certificate with five credits or better. Mature entry applicants will normally be interviewed to assess their suitability for the programme.
For the Postgraduate applications however work experience, including a candidate’s work history and current role and responsibilities in their organisation may play a critical role. The minimum qualification is a First Degree or professional qualification in a relevant field.
THIRD STEP
The applicant is contacted within 3 working days. If accepted, the acceptance letter will contain information relating to the Programme name, Fees, payment procedures and exemptions (if any). This stage confirms that a place has been reserved.
FOURTH STEP
Actual Enrollment is completed when a student pays the minimum fees requirements and a student number is allocated to them.
