Cavendish University in Uganda have set Friday, 27th March as the day for their 9th graduation ceremony in the lake side garden at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
According to a notice from the Academic Registrar’s office, students should be cleared by Thursday, 26th March and the clearance forms should be picked from Academic Registrar’s office in order to qualify for their education awards, and for those students who may not be in position to clear physically should authorize trusted persons to do so on their behalf.
Students were also asked to proof read through the spelling of their names so as to avoid mistakes on their transcripts. They are also expected to have cleared with the university finance section before they graduate.
Students graduating with certificates will be those who completed their studies by December 2019, Diploma students admitted in May, 2018 and below are also eligible to graduate. Students with exemptions and completed their studies by December 2019 are eligible to graduate too, those who were admitted in January 2017 and below are eligible to graduate with bachelor’s degrees and finally postgraduate students who completed their studies by December 2019 and also defended their Dissertations are eligible to graduate.
The event will be expected to start at 7.00am with the arrival of the graduands and their parents and end at 1.00pm where everyone will be expected to depart from the ceremony.
