Chaos has erupted at the Makerere faculty of education grounds as one of the guild candidate supporters decided to take off with a ballot box amidst tight security from the anti riot police.
An identified student from the Mwotta camp started causing commotion after he refused to vote and later ran away with one of the ballot boxes in a fast and furious stunt.
He was however forced to drop it just a few metres away from the voting grounds as policemen took after him. Of course there was no short of fun as some pot-bellied policemen couldn’t hold it and fell flat on their bellies as they tried to kiprotich after the student.
Ballot papers were later put back into the box and taken to the empty polling station which was heavily guarded by policemen.
