Close to 14,000 Students Set to Graduate at Makerere University 70th Graduation Ceremony

As we are remaining with only one week a head of Makerere University’s historical 70th graduation starting on 14th January 2020, about 80% of the preparations are done.

A total of 13,860 students will graduate with bachelors, Masters and PhDs with the college of Education having the biggest number of graduands.

The on going processes are printing and issuing out of gradation booklets, issuance of transcripts in some colleges and beautication of freedom square where the ceremony will take place.

According to one of the top officials at Makerere University, all is set for the university’s 70th graduation ceremony, which starts on 14th January to 17th January 2020.

“13,860 students will be graduating and the printing of graduation booklets is currently underway. Graduands are required to have successfully cleared with their academic units, halls of residence, as well as the university library, hospital, police station and finance department to be eligible for graduation”. He explained
