Makerere University through the Council of College Presidents organized a students talent show yesterday ( Friday 1st) at Yusuf Lule Central Teaching Facility II, from which four students were awarded victors.

David Mudani, a student from the College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS) emerged in the 1st position with 78 percent.

His victory was declared by Ms. Bridget Ankunda who was the chief judge of the day.
Mudani was followed by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences rapper only identified as Cruz, who took the second position of1st runner up, after gathering only 75 votes from the competitions.
The 2nd Runner up of the Makerere University talent show were a duo, Sarah Nkamushaba and Davis Ssenonga who performed a poem that garnered them 73 votes.

They were both from the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CoCIS).
The talent show was prepared under the theme, “Leveraging 100 years of talent”.
According to Ssenoga, this talent show was a great opportunity for students to discover their talents.
“I had written that poem long time ago but I was reluctant to push it on” The second runner up said.
He added that if it wasn’t for this talent show, the poem would be meaningless to him.
Their poem was titled, “Love Series”.
Makerere university students from different colleges showcased their talents which included comedy, Singing, Dancing, Poetry, playing instruments, and so many others.
