After ambiguous efforts trying to adopt to the average sized condoms commonly supplied in pharmaceuticals and shops, many youth from the North especially the sexually active Gulu university males have placed in a complaint to their respective parliamentarians asking for a plea that they to their huge sexual organs be catered for by condom manufacturers.
The condoms supplied to them are too small for their massive machetes. While addressing the Ugandan Parliamentary Committee for HIV/AIDS, Hon. Tom Aza insisted that one size wouldn’t fit all.
He stressed out that men in HIV prone areas have been revealed to poses bigger penises and therefore need larger sized condoms compared to the average sized ones initially put on out on the market. “During copulation, of course due to pressure the small condoms eventually burst,” Hon. Tom added. This clearly gives a huge blow for those in the struggle against HIV/ AIDS. “Some youth are complaining that the condoms they’re given are too short for their organs,” Hon. Merard Bitekyerezo said while in an interview with NTV Uganda.
“The size issue is exposing our younger boys and girls to AIDS virus Sarah Netalisile one of the committee members lamented. Members of Parliament are to take on this issue with close scrutiny so as to push manufacturers into providing better versatile condom sizes. UNICEF HIV statistics show from the 6.4% infected with the virus in 2005 the percentages have surged up to 7.2% in 2012 as 3 amongst 10 people in Uganda now live with the virus and millions of babies orphaned and born with the virus.
