The Uganda Martyrs’ University management has like its patron saints “The Uganda Martyrs” effected an act of complete selflessness with its latest stratagem to introduce half and complete bursaries for various courses short-listed in the later of this article. An act which has left many other private universities utterly prostrated and frustrated.
Following a letter published by the University PR officer, our reporter learnt that applications for these opportunities are now open to the public as per the academic year 2020/2021 for all full time Bachelors programs with the exception of Rubaga and Nsambya which are on half bursary.
It is further revealed that all science, art and programs of the deaf are on government loan scheme and a list of these can be found attached on the university bill boards.
The deadline for application form return which forms can also be found on the university website or various branches and outlets is on the 31st of this month (July).
Scholarship and bursary application however requires one to first get enrolled in the university and then pick a free application form from the various outlets amongst which are centenary bank and all catholic funded schools then after which return it to the said locations which a deadline yet to be announced.
It goes without saying that this act of devine selflessness has provided light to the once bleak futures of many would be university dropouts and has definitely warmed the hearts of not only its stake-holders, but the country as a whole.
Be sure to pass a message of appreciation in the comments section so as to encourage even other private higher learning institutions to be as generous as Uganda Martyrs University.
