Makerere university students just won’t let thieves prosper around their hoods. In the early wee hours, 8am of Monday as many students drowned and sobbed to the horrors they are yet to face in the examinations, one Franklin Kamwesi used this chance to sneak into one of the university residential halls to steal a 4 by 6 mazongoto bed.
However Franklin was nabbed by a group of suspicious residents who grilled him where he was taking the bed.
Coupled with a plethora of slaps and kicks, Franklin revealed to the angry mob he stole the bed because he was just trying to survive.

“Mbadde ngenda kweyiya,” Franklin explained to the exasperated mob.
Franklin was slashed 100 strokes of a cane before he was taken to the nearby police station.
