Moses Ahumuza, 24, a third year Bachelor of Commerce (external) student at Makerere University who breathed his last on Monday morning at Kahiizi Hospital where he had been admitted after being brutally beaten by unknown thugs, has been laid to rest.
The deceased was buried yesterday (August 11th) at his ancestral home area in Nyarushajye, Rukungiri District amidst tears and grief.

The very latest development on the death of the deceased is that Police in Rukungiri are holding two suspects in custody, in connection to the brutality of the late Ahumuza which led to his death.
The suspects have been identified as Trust Muramura, 18 and Beatrice Tumwine.
The Kigezi Regional Spokesperson, Elly Maate said that the deceased was brutaly beaten by two people at Nyamakukuru Trading Centre on the night of Sunday 9th August before he was rushed to Kisiizu Hospital but unfortantely passed away.
“Ahumuza was such a vibrant politician and good friend as well, I am left in a desert of words but may his Soul Rest in eternal Peace. He will always be remembered, and personally, I’ll miss you.” With Grief, one of the mourners at the funeral said.
