If you have ever come to think that every defiance strategy in the country has to be spear-headed by Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) former presidential candidate, Dr. Kizza Besigye, then you will have to think twice.
Marion Mushamba a finalist at the Nakawa-based Makerere University Business School (MUBS), yesterday evening defied orders when she decided to hold her own graduation ceremony since all hopes of her graduating at the Freedom square in January were diminished by President Museveni earlier last month, when ordered for the indefinite closure of Makerere. Funnily, she calls Muk, “Muukkuu”.
If Mushamba’s social media post is anything to go with, the fine lady from the proclaimed ‘land of milk and honey’ was to pick her transcript from the infamous ‘Nasser road’ later in the day, all this in the name of what she termed as “problems of unemployed youth who is counting on the transcript to beat the unemployment.”
She further asks President Museveni to allow her defy his orders or better open Makerere and save a girl child that she is.
