Banda-based Kyambogo University has unveiled the updated approved tuition structure for the academic year 2021/2022.
This also includes the functional fees for freshers, continuing students and final year students. Also, the fees structures indicates the payment amounts for international students in Ugandan currency First years are expected to report starting this weekend as continuing students proceed with the 2020/2021 academic year.
“…internship fees for International students amounts to Shs. 375,000 were Ugandans pay shs. 250,000 and shs 225,000 were Ugandans pay 150,000” the circular partly reads. you can download the fees structure below:
Payment Guidelines from the University
(a) access your portal (https://myportal.kyu.ac.ug? and enroll at the beginning of every semester for you to be billed, remember to select the semester’s course units.
(b) obtain a valid reference number ( expires within 48 hrs) by accessing your portal on address ( https://myportal.kyu.ac.ug) or from ict office 01 at faculty of arts & social sciences or at the faculty or school before making any payment. registration is done every semester upon full payment of fees.
(c) activate your kyambogo university student’s email, e.g (2100800760@std.kyu.ac.ug) and use it to communicate to all university relevant offices.
(d) all fees stated exclude bank charges and surcharge.
(e) make all payments in any of the uganda revenue authority designated banks.
(f) all students should complete fees settlement and registration within eight (08) weeks from the starting date of the academic year or semester.
(g) all fresh students who do not register within time, will be deemed to have turned down the admission offer
(h) do not hand over fees to any other person except at the bank counters/be aware of conmen.
