Carol Atuhirwe, while at campus was not the party animal type of student. Atuhirwe who is battling cancer at Mulago says she never ever went out during her campus days.
“I didn’t go out at campus, I was busy with my studies. I didn’t enjoy even a bit,” Atuhirwe who is battling throat and lung cancers and has lost her voice and eats through a pipe says.
Her situation is hurting and needs urgent intervention. She needs Shs 270 million to for an operation and the campaign has so far raised close to Shs100m.
“I wanted to do that (go out) after campus but little did I know the devil had already planned his destruction. Nevertheless I haven’t failed to smile. Devil is a looser,” she, in a Facebook post wrote.

Car Wash
Better still, Family and friends of Atuhirwe have organised a Car Wash event to raise funds for her surgery in the United States. The Car wash event is set for Saturday 23rd at Panamera Bar, Naguru opposite Kampala Parents School.
