A recent graduate, Yusuf Kato, is in disbelief after he discovered that he is not the biological father of the assumed first child with his babe, leading to the breakdown of an eight-year relationship.
The shocking revelation came to light after a DNA test was conducted, bringing an unexpected end to a seemingly stable and long-lasting union.
It all began in 2016 when Kato met his girlfriend during his senior six vacation. The couple seemed to be deeply in love, and in 2019, their bond strengthened as they welcomed their first child. Determined to be a responsible father, Kato decided to move in with his girlfriend to start a family.
On Wednesday, Kato was left in disbelief after receiving the results of a DNA test of the child that was performed. The test unveiled he was not the biological father of the child in question with a 0.00% paternity index. The news shattered the basis of trust that had been built over the years with his girlfriend, leading to an ‘automatic’ breakup.
Heartbroken, Kato said: “I got my girlfriend in 2016 in my S.6 vac, in 2019 she got pregnant and I decided to start living with her, we now have 2 kids. It is yesterday but one that I got to know that her 1st pregnancy wasn’t mine after a DNA test. I am now single after 8 years. That’s love”
It is unclear what remains of the bond that he shared with his now ex-girlfriend given the second child they brought and raised into the world together (that’s if the second child is his to begin with)
