Honourable Robinah Nabbanja, the prime minister of the republic of Uganda advised graduates not to be limited by qualifications they have acquired as they strive to earn a living.
Hon. Nabbanja, who was the guest of honour at the 6th graduation ceremony of University of Kisubi held on Saturday April 9th, 2022, also urged the graduates to have a positive attitude towards work.
Archbishop Dr Paul Ssemogerere, the main celebrant during the thanks giving mass, called upon the graduates to end the vice of selfishness, individualism and create a culture of solidarity as well as uphold christian values.
“The disparity between the rich and poor is caused by the subculture of selfishness, individualism and self-promotion. Today we see luxury and misery existing side by side. We must cultivate a new culture of human solidarity which will help us to assimilate the christian values of social justice, love, respect, and concern of others,” he said.
He also told the graduates not to worry about the future in regards to employment and marriage as the lord is in control.
