Dr Stella Nyanzi’s office reopened, breaks down in tears

After relentless efforts, including stripping outside her office, Makerere professor has won the battle. Her office has been opened and keys given back to her. The office was opened by Prof Edward Kirumira the Principal College of Humanities and Social sciences.

This comes shortly after the mother of three stripped naked after she was locked out by her boss, Prof Mahmood Mamdani, the director of Makerere Institute of Research.

“Do I have to first undress my self to get my office back?” Dr Nyanzi queried and broke down in tears. She has since gone back to her home (with her office keys) to freshen up and return to resume her work.
