“IUIU has dedicated lecturers that are ready to teach you skills and character because education without character is destructive. IUIU loves you and this university needs you to be somebody. The dedicated lecturers are ready to make you become somebody,”
“Don’t cheat in examinations. IUIU will allow you to cheat in exams and become a medical doctor who don’t know what to do,” Professor Gyagenda says.
Professor Gyagenda congratulated the first year students for joining the second oldest University in Uganda.
“Let me congratulate you for joining the Islamic University in Uganda. Let me congratulate you for joining the second oldest University in the country after the hill, ‘Makerere University.’ On behalf of University Council, Member Countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (0IC”), I am wishing you a successful academic journey at this institution,” Professor Gyagenda says.
The IUIU Rector advises the students to use their presence at the evergreen campus appropriately by working hard in class.
“University is where you become a universal man or lady. I can imagine how you are feeling because I was also once a fresher at Makerere University in 1976. Use your stay here to explore. A complete intellectual must know something about anything,” Professor Gyagenda says.
