Makerere University student, Leah Kalanguka, who was on Saturday crowned Miss Uganda 2014/2015 has been treated to a lot of sharp criticism with the majority of the population on social media branding her “Ugly” and unfit to represent Uganda in Miss World beauty contest, taking place this December. However, the software engineering student is not bothered by the mean comments and insults saying that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
When asked about her biggest struggle at the moment, on one of the Radio stations in town, Kalanguka said; “Well! Probably the media but it’s not really a big issue for me, Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and there will always be negative energy. At the end of the day it is how you deal with the negativity that matters- I have some how learnt how to handle it.”
This student seems unstoppable and no matter the public says, nothing is gonna wipe away her confidence.
