MAK: Makerere University students are fighting for seats in the main library. The students who begin papers today are flocking the giant library that has turned out to be very ‘small’ to accommodate over 5,000 students struggling to do last minute revising.
Seniors are asking first years to surrender their seats since they have “little to read”. “Man you only have 10 pages of content to read surrender the seats for us, your seniors, who have 10 handouts to read,” a senior student is heard bargaining with a first year student.
The queue outside the library is unbelievable. Students have seemingly learnt to be patient with the routine of being thoroughly checked before entering the library. Makes us wonder if these students have just been given handouts. Success to y’all!
