A first year student, Elizabeth Twebaze at Uganda Christian University (UCU) Bishop Barham campus in Kabale District drowned yesterday in the deepest lake in Uganda, Bunyonyi situated in the same district.
A source close to the eye-witnesses of incident reached out to Campus Bee indicating that the late Elizabeth and friends had gone to wash clothes by the lake which resulted into excitement turned disastrous.

Before her demise, the late Twebaze was pursuing a Bachelors in social work and social administration at the Kabale-based institution.
