Daniel, the Kampala International University (KIU) student who jumped from his hostel and fell down to near death is rotting in hospital, Campus Bee has learned. The student allegedly jumped down from his hostel (Elite Hostel Kansanga) on Monday.
He was immediately taken to Nsambya Hospital barely hanging on to life. Exclusive news coming in from our sources at the hospital and in the university, say that the hospital authorities have refused to work on him unless he raises 10M.
“The parents of the guy are so broke, they said they cannot get that kind of money anywhere. People/ students are just fundraising” our source at the university intimated to us.
When approached, the Hostel said they’re not responsible for him because he “was playing” when he fell down from the hostel and as such, they cannot incur liability for his well being.
