The Law Development Centre (LDC) has this afternoon held a meeting with lawyers who finished the course before 2019 but were unable to be enrolled because of the pre-entry exam.
Speaking to the hundreds that converged at the LDC Main Auditorium this afternoon, the bar course staff assured them that everyone has been automatically admitted but will only admit 582 for this year as they formally operationalize the Lira Campus.
“Due to space constraints, we can only admit 582 for this year who will be randomly selected from the pool of everyone that applied. The rest will all be admitted next year” an insider in the meeting recounts words by LDC authorities.
To try and be fair to them however, the postgraduate law diploma body assured them of space in the Kampala Campus. Consequently, everyone that finished before 2019 who gets unlucky and isn’t admitted this year will be automatically admitted to the Kampala Campus next year.
“Your admissions will be available and you can pick them anytime, so there will be no need of applying again next year.”
