Earlier last week the Uganda police force took over the security of Uganda’s second largest public university, Kyambogo. The move caused so much chitchat among students and various individuals who reside within and outside campus as to why the in charge security company known as Savannah security group was replaced.

This website took initiative to contact the Kyambogo university public relations officer Jenifer  Sibbo Rukundo who told us that the contract of the Savannah security group has ended and so management sought it best to deploy police to take over the university security as other arrangements are being made .

” Their contract ended and so management has deployed police as other arrangements are being made.”  Sibbo  commented .
