The Law Development Centre (LDC) has been forced to issue a public statement denouncing a fake graduation list that has circulated on various social media platforms.
The fraudulent list, showed had 19th December 2024 as the graduation date, causing significant anxiety among law students with its alarming purported failure rates.
The unauthorized list claimed to show devastatingly low pass rates across LDC’s three campuses: Kampala at 7%, Mbarara at 5%, and Lira at 3% – suggesting an overall pass rate of just 15% out of 298 students.
According to the fake document, a staggering 85% of students allegedly failed their final assessments.
The Management Committee of LDC quickly moved to debunk these figures, stating categorically that no official results have been released.
“We urge all students and members of the public to disregard any purported graduation lists currently circulating on social media,” the statement reads.
It remains t be seen when the actual results will be released.
