Ndejje University students have for long been eating and feasting on cheap locally made food and takeaways from ‘kafundas’ since the establishment of the main campus in Luwero. This hustle has finally come to an end after the University recently opened the doors of its first ever multi-million fancy guild canteen.
Constructed with funds from the university and guild fee, the canteen is one of a kind, seen as the best in the country with no other university having such a luxurious and well catered for guild canteen. It’s erected on a big chunk of land and has facilities for a large cafeteria, sports arena for watching and playing pool, a fancy well equipped ladies saloon, a ‘Cafe Javas class’ restaurant, shops, guild president’s office, a lobby and a conference room that students can meet from.
Unlike the old days where students could buy foodstuffs from the street, students can now shop from within the canteen since it has all the goodies and edibles campusers would yearn for.
What makes the canteen the doopest is- it is very spacious with free WiFi and a jacuzzi.
Ndejje students have stormed the canteen as multitudes are seen spending their tuition on their girlfriends. Clubs like Rotaract Ndejje have also turned the place into a meeting joint while a number of continuing students are now hooking hot freshers from the cafeteria.
The construction of the guild canteen has been estimated to be over shs2 billion.
