Ruth Olango, a news reporter at Sanyu FM, yesterday during the strike at Makerere was allegedly sexually assaulted by a group of horny stubborn Makerere University students who for her butt, squeezing it as she tried to record a news bite of the strike.
According to her account of the story, as she was filing her story, she got mobbbed by the ill raised and seemingly horny students (led by a one Falcao) who tried to wrestle her down. She however stood her ground.
She promises to take action the next time this happens according to her Facebook post
“One of the girls was angry with me, and whispered, you should just let such things pass.
I will not be letting anything pass, we are giving these young adults too much power. That (Falcao) idiot if not told off, will go on thinking all is well, and someday raise his sons to think the same way. That son, will (God forbid) treat our daughters with the same disrespect. So, next time, I will go as far as take your picture and shame you.
