Singer Fik Fameica has publicly endorsed Makerere University student Judith Nalukwago for Guild presidency ahead of the university’s guild elections slated for 30th April 2021.
The ‘Buligita’ singer recently took to his social media platforms to call upon his Makerere fans to vote for Nalukwago who is running on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket.
“Judith Nalukwago for Guild President Makerere University. Buligita mugwe mwenzisiza!!! Kindly abayivu be Makerere please vote her.” Fameica posted.
Nalukwago will be running against other contestants like; Oguttu Aaron, Mutabarura Jackson, and Joseph Tumusiime.
It remains unclear which candidate was offically endorsed by NUP as both Nalukwago and Oguttu have branded their posters with People Power symbols, leaving voters in total confusion.
Students will vote for their new guild leaders on 30th April 2021 in an electronic/physical voting manner, according to EC.
