There was a fire incident at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Main Campus in Mbale City, Campus Bee has learnt.
According to the information that Campus Bee has gathered, the fire caught one of female hostels at the university around 9 pm today.
The university administration has confirmed the development.
“We want to inform you that there was a fire incident at Rahma Hall (Main Campus), but it was put out on time,” says a Tweet on the university’s official Twitter handle.
The university administration says no any injury or loss of property recorded due to the fire incident.
“No injuries or loss of property was registered. We thank the students and staff for their quick and positive responses,” adds a tweet.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established but speculations that Campus Bee has not verified independently show that the incident was caused by electrical fault.
