Five MUBS Lecturers Promoted to Professor Level

Word coming in confirms that Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has taken a step to strengthen its position as Uganda’s best business school by promoting some of its lecturers. More details indicate that five academic staff officials have been promoted to the level of professors and the Nakawa scholars are over the moon following their lecturers’ promotion.

According to Information from the institute’s Secretary, some senior academic staff have been promoted due to their expertize and their dedicated service to the school.

 The senior academic staff promoted to the position of professor include; Associate Prof. Musa Moya, Associate Prof. Ernest Abaho, PhD, Associate Prof. Samuel Dawa, PhD, Associate  Prof. Janatti Kyogabiirwe Bagorogoza, PhD, Associate Prof. David Katamba, PhD.

The mentioned staff are apparently jubilating following this remarkable achievement and they cant wait to kick off their duties, come next semester.

In other news, the MUBS Appointments Board during  its 50th Meeting held on December 03, 2019 received and noted the appointment instrument from the Education Service Commission of Assoc. Prof. Moses Muhwezi as substantive Deputy Principal for the Nakawa-based campus.
