“MTN is the largest telecom company in Uganda today because of the support of our customers. It’s therefore incumbent upon us to give back to them to say thank you for making us who we are. This will be a double win for our customers. First of all they will be sending money at half price, while doing that, they will be entered into a draw to win one of those exciting prizes. So in that way, all our customers will be winners.” Gitta said.
Also present at the launch was the Masaka Mayor Mr. Kayemba Afaayo, who called upon residents of Masaka and other areas to participate in the newly launched MoMo Nyabo promotion.
The MoMo Nyabo promotion was later taken to Masaka recreation grounds on Friday night where two lucky winners (Kigundu Rashid and Steven Nanziga) walked away with bodaboda bikes. The night also featured music performances from a line up of artists including Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool among others.
