News reaching the campus bee desk is that the the Makerere University Business School Electoral commission has denied candidate Joseph Bagumirabingi, former chief fresher nomination for Guild Presidency.
When we consulted Mr. Joseph’s camp they claimed that he is being denied nomination due to having a different manifesto compared to the rest of the aspirants’.
They also claimed that the electoral commission told him he isn’t a student of M.U.B.S which was rather shocking since this same person was the Chief fresher for the years 2019 to 2020.
The camp further said that among other reasons he was denied nomination was due to the fact he had tuition issues.
Campus bee team inquired from the office of the electoral commission of MUBS on the alleged accusation where the information minister of MUBS told us that Mr. Joseph Bagumirabingi hadn’t completed tuition yet and that during the picking of the nomination forms he presented receipts for the previous semester and that he had been given till 17th December 2021 to clear the tuition or else he will be disqualified from the race of the next guild president of Makerere University Business School.
The information minister disqualified all the other rumours stating that they are false.
