Former Buyende District Police Commander (DPC) Muhammad Kirumira is at it again and this time it’s not about politics. The latest information reaching Campus Bee news desk indicates that Kirumira is few steps away from joining Makerere University’s Law School, our snoops have confirmed.
Through his Facebook account, Kirumira posted about his visit to Makerere Law School and his interests in joining this academic year. “Very soon am enrolling for Bachelor of Laws @MUK.
Today I spent valuable time at School of Law with the Public Relations Officer and other lectures about the steps to be taken to catch up this coming academic year. So that I can master in criminal law” Kirumira posted few hours ago.
However, it not yet clear whether Kirumira has officially applied for Law despite his latest visit and consultations from the Wandegeya based University.
Kirumira dominated the news headlines few weeks ago when he was ruthlessly arrested by Police following his resignation. The Police Flying Squad Unit broke the front door of Kirumira’s house in Bulenga before arresting him.
In an attempt to evade arrest, Kirumira locked himself inside the house an act that left police with no option but breaking inside. Kirumira had earlier appeared before the police tribunal at Police Headquarters in Naguru where he was charged with corruption, torture, extortion, bribery, unlawful arrests and excessive use of authority.
