The Annual Makerere Law School Constitutional Court Moot was held on 4th June 2016 at Makerere from 8am to 10pm.
It attracted 12 teams making it 24 participants from all the classes.
Four of the twelve teams were of First Years that were taking part in the competition for the first time.
Save for the first year team of Kasibante David and Jeffrey Khaddu that reached semis, the other three were eliminated way back in the competition.
It was an all Third Year Final in which Ssenyonga Simon (a former aspirant in the Makerere Guild Presidential elections) and Aboto Judith Maryanne (the East African Community Deputy Youth Ambassador) emerged as the winning team.
The winners will represent Makerere in Africa’s biggest moot competition in October in the African Human Rights Moot Court Competition (Gambia) that will attract the best students from the best African Universities.
