The former president of Kyambogo University for the year 2012-2013, Christopher Buni brought traffic to a halt on a Colville Street in the city on Easter Monday, 2nd April, when he went to his knees and proposed to his girlfriend Brenda Komugisha.
The duo had attended mass together at Christ the King Church. After saying mass together, they walked a few meters from the church and then came the moment.
Buni who could not hold his excitement went down his right knee and showed his girlfriend the ring. The girl who was in shock, was filled with excitement and was rush to say the magic words. “Yes” to the question.
The event was clearly planned because Buni’s friends had their camera’s on stand by and recorded the whole memorable incident as it went down. It was just love in the air for these two as they engaged in the public display of their affection.
Buni is also son to Kassiano Wadri, former Member of Parliament for Terego County.
This is among the many such romantic gestures that has been happening on our streets these days after a couple of others were recorded the past weeks.
