Aaron Oguttu, a former Makerere University guild presidential aspirant is among the graduates that were conferred with degrees at Makerere University’s 72nd graduation.
Aaron graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Arts in Education (literature) on Tuesday May 24th, 2022 during the 72nd graduation ceremony at Makerere University.
Aaron Oguttu was a guild presidential aspirant during the 86th guild race in which he was baptized as ‘political torero,’ a name alluded to an alcoholic drink Torero.
Oguttu lost the 86th guild race to Ivan Ssempijja who also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery on Monday May 23rd, 2022.
Makerere University’s 72nd graduation ceremony commenced on Monday May 23rd, 2022 with the president of the republic of Uganda and first lady Janet Museveni gracing the opening ceremony.
12,474 students will graduate during Makerere’s week-long 72nd graduation ceremony.
